The Lurkers of Croydon are one of the oldest, friendliest and most eclectic teams in UK Ultimate. Founded in 1984, they have their roots in the Purley High School For Boys team that began playing Ultimate in 1978. The annual Lurkers tournament at Woodmansterne is one of the highlights of the UK Ultimate calendar with 100% sunshine guaranteed. The winners of the tournament are presented with the coveted Aston Moody trophy which commemorates one of the original Lurkers who died in a car crash on the way home from a tournament.
Outdoor practices are being held at Wandle Park, Croydon Wednesday 6.00PM - dusk(9.00PM), Sunday 4.00PM-7.00PM. Please phone to confirm Sundays, we may be at a tournament.
Lurkers have joined with Angels and Tribal Desire to form the South London Ultimate Team. We hope to have a team at all of the Ultim8 events this year. Closest Tube: Northern Line - Clapham South Station.

Lurkers Tournament is yet to be confirmed. One thing we do know is that Woodmansterne is not available this year. Until we find another venue the tournament is on hold.
The Lurkers are a very fiendly lot and not bad at Ultimate either. If you want to play Ultimate with the Lurkers, then regardless of your playing ability, sex, creed, age, height, weight or hair length you should get in contact with one of the people listed below or catch us at the next tournament:
